Transport

Airport transfers, subway, buses and transit cards.

One card covers nearly everything. A T-money or Cashbee card works on the metro, city buses and most 出租车s, and tops up at any convenience store. Metro fares are distance-based — 1,600 KRW for up to 10 km and 1,800 KRW beyond that — while city buses charge one flat fare regardless of distance.

From Gimhae Airport, the light rail with a metro transfer is the cheapest way into the city and a 出租车 is the fastest. From Seoul, KTX reaches Busan Station in about two and a half hours. The Donghae Line is the one that serves Osiria and Gijang. The guides below cover fares, where to buy, transfers and what to do when a machine only speaks Korean.
